Die Cutting

Die Cutting is how we started and it is at the core of our company as one of our specialties. Using state of the art laser cut steel ruled die’s we are able to punch out any design you create from the most exotic materials to the plainest. Our extensive experience enables us to do very tight wall widths where other companies simply can not. Die Cutting is advantageous to water jet cutting in some circumstances for very long runs where material savings is less of a concern to speed. It is also great for kitted items where there are multiple different parts from the same material that can be nested into a single die and we can provide them in kitted bags to save your assembly line time. It is also very useful for parts with PSA backing that the water jet can sometimes make the liner slightly harder for your assembly line to peel off from. Die Cutting is also very advantageous for very high volumes when the speed of die cutting simply can’t be matched. It is also the only way to get “kiss cut” or gaskets supplied on a liner with PSA backing where you can just peel the gasket off of the liner easily without having separate parts and it can be supplied with the finished parts on a roll.
